Tinker Bell Rocks! I have loved Tinker Bell since the first time I watched “Peter Pan way back in the single digits. The best thing about her is she has attitude unlike all the other female characters in Disney.
Saturday, May 31st, me older brother, Max and his two bestfriends Trevor and Ryan had a graduation party. Max, Ryan andTrevor are seniors in high school. The party was organized by all the moms. I had a great time, even though I was exhausted from working my tail off all weekend.
Ryan and Trevor’s moms are like my own. The funny thing is Ryan and Trevor each have a younger sister my age and three of us are best friends. I think it is really cool because Christine (Ryan’s younger sister) Erin (Trevor’s younger sister) and I will also have a combined party of our own someday.
L.A. Class
The most valuable part of Language Arts this year is how my teacher taught me how to bring my essays up an extra point on the DSTP. She taught us how to plug in little things like alliterations, similes, and metaphors. These things definitely helped me in my writing; reading an essay from last year compare to this year has a huge difference.
The most memorable thing in L.A. this year was when we took the trip to the Opera. When we went to see Madame Butterfly I was very excited, I did not know what to expect. When I got there I sat next to my friend Chloe and we enjoyed the show; incredible singing.
The lesson that made me think this year was when we made the poem on John Milton. I tried really hard to connect the poem with him. So I had to research a lot to see what he was like, what he did, and what happened to him. In the end the poem turned out great and I was chosen to perform it in the Milton Theater.
Summer
Just thinking of summer makes my heart beat,
What am I going to do under the suns comforting heat?
The beach is what I like about summer most,
I love to surf for ours along our restless coast.
Practicing through summer is successes key,
Because sports never ever wait up for me.
I cannot wait for the sand between my toes,
And for my birthday when I will get new clothes.
There are so many things in the summer I do,
The school days left are now very few.

Samantha is the one I look up to so much. She helps me with lots of things. I also admire what she does and did. She left huge foot steps for me to fill. Sam helps me with the sports we both love; filed hockey. She taught me how to do a reverse sweep and lots of other tricks. Whenever she is home from college she helps me with all of my skills.
I also admire her reputation she left when she left Cape Henlopen High School. Now she has moved on to an even higher stage: the University of Villanova. My sister also helps me with school. She teaches me to use more advanced vocabulary, and gets on my case about saying the word like so much. Sam also helps me narrow out my interest to help me decide what courses to take in high school.
Currently in California my sister is following her dream to be a co-producer. She is working on an internship to become one, and maybe the people might have an opening at NBC networks. She is working hard ad setting a great example for me. Hopefully I’ll be able to make as big foot steps as hers.
Dear Kaci,
I would probably be an outfit outcast if you were not my sister. My closet is a hammy down mess. I would have to repeat my outfits every three days, if I did not sneak into your closet and steal your clothes. The best part is you have accepted the fact that I will not and can not stop. I know it is frustrating but thanks for keeping that bottled up in side three fourths of the time. I just want you to know that I am so grateful for all those times I have got a hold of your clothes, without your say. That’s what a little sister is for; to rack around your brains so that you feel as if you are going to explode like the biggest volcanoes in the world put together! Am I doing a good job of it?
You are probably annoyed, but just think when I am in the same school as you. Wow, I know our house is going to be crazy. Keep in mind that your little sister is always remember how grateful she should feel about how her wonderful most coolest sister in the whole universe gave her clothes to share.
Love,
Your Little Sis
Success In elementary school I always watched my older brothers and sisters do well in all their sports. Throughout the time I watched them I promised myself that I would be just as good as they were in middle school or even better.
My siblings became captains in a lot of sports. So when I came to Mariner Middle school I wanted to be one too. I soon found out that no one is captain until their eighth grade year. Of course I told myself I want to be the first to be a seventh grade captain. Turns out I did it. I worked really hard over the summer to captain for field hockey. All that work paid off, I was voted captain in seventh and eighth grade for all my sports; Field Hockey, Basketball, Softball.
I was so proud of myself for being captain all through seventh grade and eighth grade. Now I am ready to concur high school, and to set my goal. Not only for sports this time but for academics, I will even plan on participating in extra curricular activities.
Freedom Writers is one of my favorite movies. This movie takes place in an urban school in a city. Where new young teacher comes in thinking it will be a great experience when others do not.
The setting where it takes place is mostly in school and on the streets. The teacher that comes thinks that she will have enjoyable students that want to learn, but she has no idea what they have been through. The kids in her class are all in gangs depending on their race. The majority of them have seen a member of their family or close friend killed. Maybe even more than that, which has built hatred in them keeping them apart.
The teacher does not have any support because all the other teachers think nothing of her students; they think they are not worth educating. Throughout the movie the students take over a remarkable change in their lives. Created by their teacher. The students go from not caring, hanging with “their own”, and just trying to make it through high school. To really trying, interacting with others, and striving to make it to college.
I recommend this movie to anyone. It is remarkable to see the changes in these kids. Or to imagine what the teacher did for them. Even if she had to work to extra jobs to support the other.
“Revenge of the Wannabes” has some of the most back stabbing, attention wanting characters, but it is enjoyable at the same time. In this book two girls out of a group of now five strive to be an Alpha of a pack. Massie who usually leads is losing one of her best friends (Alicia) because she it tired of being a “second”, as in follower.
Before Massie, Alicia, Kristen, and Dylan all were so tight nothing came between them. Claire a new girl showed up last year and things started to crumble. Now Alicia is starting to depart with a blonde haired girl with a nose job, named Olivia Ryan. Alicia has brown curly hair, and unlike her friends, she has a chest and is very uncomfortable with it. Massie has straight brown hair with burning amber eyes. Kristen is very athletic with blonde hair and hangs out with Dylan, and they both are “seconds”. Dylan, is a little chubby, tall, and has flaming red hair.
Most of this story takes place at Massie’s house, school, and New York. All of these scenes make it seem that it is real life, and that it could really happen. I would definitely recommend this novel to any girl that wants excitement. It is not so much a boy book, but I can tell you flipping the pages will become a habit. Reading this book made me want five more minutes constantly just to see what would happen next.
